Tribute to Grandpa

A lanky man around the fireplace
Drops of water dropping from fingers
Dim voice asking for a glass of tea
Early to bed chanting melodious hymns

Grin cheeks rarely clean shaven
Farming and harvesting all year around
Caring the cows and the whole family
Always worrying about kids' future

A superman were you
Struggled till the end
Satisfaction was never there
Nor were the needs fulfilled

those fainted memories
Are my shadows describing
The great man and his life
Which will always survive.

'It's the last time you are seeing me.'
'No Grandpa! you will be smiling for 20 more years.' I consoled myself, all everyone around then. But how could I console me recalling those harsh but true words. December 2013 first week, I saw you for the last time. I know you are blessing me from the heaven.
I love you grandpa, I know that thinking star are you who is always with me. Although it's been a year you left this world, you can not leave my heart.
